BTW, you can take yourself off beta: Settings -> All Settings -> Beta (toward the bottom) -> Leave
Me too.
When I use the "marble" sound, I can't hear anything, but with any other sound type it's fine.
check all your sound settings; speakers, computer, browser, browser tab; there are a lot of places things can be muted

And also, considering that all I am changing is the sound type, you would think that no settings would change.

I am currently experiencing the same thing. When I attempt to use nature sounds, there are no move sounds during a live game. If I switch to default sounds, it works. Minor problem...
