I'm a 14 year old chess player in Virginia, currently trying to make a PCL team (doing fine). I'm admin in a bunch of clubs but the biggest one is the NSPCL. I am an admin for Kasparov Chess Club, Team Canada and Chess Canadian.

Kasparov Chess Club is for fans of Garry Kasparov.  It participates in the One World League vote chess, It's a Knockout vote chess and a number of team match leagues as well.  Membership is open to most people.

Team Canada participates in the World League, Pan Am League, Live Chess World League and Live Pan Am League including some chess960 events.  We also play vote chess.  It's mainly for players with some connection to Canada, but we have a sister club, Chess Canadian, which is open to people who are interested in Canada.

I'm the SA of the club May the chess be with you. May the chess be with you was born for all those Spanish-speaking fans who love this beautiful game, to provide them with a meeting point, a bond of union in which to give free rein to their love for chess.
We are a very active club. We participate in the Leagues One World (1W), Super1700 (S17) and the Club chess tour (CCT League S1). Both classical chess and 960 chess. We have a wide range of internal tournaments: an annual league in several divisions with play off of up/down, a cup by KO open to all, and The Pyramid, a unique tournament that works by levels and direct duels in which you can choose your rival.
A maxim guides us, a sincere desire that chess may be with you.

I am a super-admin of Team USA, which participates in World League.

I have been playing Chess since I was in fifth grade. I met my wife at a chessboard. At the beginning of our freshman year at college, she was in the dorm, took a wrong turn, and saw me playing Chess. She decided to stick around, and we played two games, which I won. Soon after that, we played two more games, which she won. We realized we were evenly matched against each other. By the end of our freshman year, we realized that we were tied, 16-1-16. One night during finals week, we squeezed in one more game--which was drawn.

As it happens, we didn't play again for several more years, during which time I got much better because I studied fairly meticulously, whereas she didn't study or practice it. We still enjoy playing against each other, though.

I taught my older son how to play Chess when he was two years old. He learned the rules very effectively, although his skill is not yet impressive: his online rating is barely over 1000.

My younger son also likes to play Chess on occasion, but he does not have as much focus or interest in it as his brother.

My older daughter has not yet learned how to play, and my younger daughter is still an infant, so she doesn't know the rules yet either.

Just have to keep on working for that spot, determination and grit and you'll get there.

Hello! Thanks for the invite. Im from Norway, english is my second language,  I play chess everyday, at my own level.... i have not studied anything so far. I love it to escape life and keep my brain sharp. My grandfather learned me how pieces moves and I took it up after my kid grew up and I had to fill my life with something. Maybe some day i can do some courses etc and can reach a higher level than i am now. Im admin in several clubs  Chess-n-Chat (6182members) is the one I spend most time at. It is mostly about the livechat. I do the invites,  set up matches,  livetournements,  keep the livechat active etc.  I also try help out HampovksyChessClub and a few more.  I would love to help out if im needed for anything. Hi, I joined chess.com in 2013. I only discovered clubs and tournaments after quite sometime. My chess.com rating fluctuates around 1200 depending how many concurrent games I take on. I enjoy Daily games the most. I am SA for The Groovy Gang and admin for Team South Africa, Team South Africa and Groovers+. I enjoy organising tournaments for the various clubs and running Ladders for some of the clubs.
