dam, I agree they should fix this but you adressed this problem a bit harshly
Is this still on the radar? or are you just liars?
Ya, that is a problem but it does sound hard to fix, though you should follow up with them to see if they had started addressing the issue
not really, it just takes some removing of some html code. Also, I don't think it's harsh to talk about a potential/current addiction or criminal activity.
This is how I want to reach staff. I need some people behind me on this.
I agree that it is the persons fault, but having less outlets means it can be safer for an addict who does want to quit. it can give less opportunities for relapse and such. besides, addiction is truly one of the hardest things to overcome. Addicts need all the help they can get
True true to both of you but if they did tell you they'd fix it you should do the thing I had said previously
Although youve now posted a way to apparently surf "bad" websites through the chess.com app, so, congrats on advertising that for all to see.
Also the dark web is accessed through Tor and... id be seriously shocked if youve found a way to launch a tor browser through the chess.com app. Have you actually done that? Or are you just saying "dark web" without knowing what you're talking about?
I don't even know what that is but why are you finding ways to download it if you are saying people should not do stuff like that?
Let me confirm. You found a way to launch tor from within the chess.com app? That is what you are saying? Is it launching as the default browser or something along those lines?
I dont have the chess.com app as I dont honestly see the point of using it when all the features of the website run fine within a web browser on my phone, so I cant tinker with this to confirm on my own, but... that's a whopper of a bug if true.
About 5 months ago, I made a forum post about an issue with the clubs button in the android app. If you didn't know, you can just navigate away from the page in app to say a p orn site or the dark web or something, while still being in the app. On paper this means it looks like you spent 2 hours on chess, when you were actually hiding a p orn problem from someone or something else along those lines. I was told by both support and martin (the moderator) that the problem would be addressed as soon as possible. Instead, we got a table slam, bots nobody wanted or needed, a change to puzzles, and more that I probably forgot. What gives, is pressing f more important than someone's mental health, or do you ignore this so you can keep customers?
