Medieval War 2022 Lore
January 9-15
War has begun in the land of The Golden 64 Squares! The war is brutal - Actually it's not actually that brutal. Very few men and women live in the East. It's a land a few people. The west is where people are really fighting. This is probably why we see more and more leaders populating their populations into the East.
The above mentioned war is between The Golden 64 Squares and Universal Chess Team (e3 @Kesarling_UT) The battle will determine what club will be the first dominating kingdom of the East. Now that leadership is slowly moving in towards the West we will begin to see in the East the same sort of brutality as in the West.
Something has now happened that may turn the East into a warring place. It has been predicted by television broadcasters for many weeks now, but it still hasn't happened. But now something has happened that may change the course of the War. The Chess Mafia (@RaufUsSabid7) was found on h6 and they intend to probably fight.
Of course the news reporters got excited at this and started snapping out news articles on every newspaper in town. "Extra Extra! Read all 'bout it! War on the Eastern Front is not inevitable" What happened? Well, a leader by the name of @RaufUsSabid7 has taken h6 and this will most likely mark the spark of fire in the North-East.
At the same time down in the south more tribes are coming in and it looks like peace will never come to these people. e1 is taken by GM_Kingoftheworld and friends is back (@GM_kingoftheworld) a kingdom of many hundreds of peoples. We're still waiting to see if they plan to keep their small kingdom and mind their own business, but we'll see.
News also has come in from in the deep south that the leader of Broken Boards - Chess team on e2, @Kayden_Potter is at war with Bright Suns (@RDkhanna) on d1. It was kept a secret as Kayden_Potter did not want to reveal that his country was to be yet another warring tribe. No one was surprised when the newspapers went mad on it. They were too interested to know whether the calm and peacful North would ever start to fight.
The next day the rumor was everywhere. The newspapers had done it again, they started a rumor that the whole North was just gathering their armies into one that would sweep in and destroy the south. This rumor was started by the Daily Med, a daily newspaper. In their conspiracy column they wrote of the possibilities of a truce up there in the North that was keeping the North calm. By the time this next day ended we find that almost everyone in the South has started to muster their armies because they could be in trouble.
The news has now come out! It was on January 10 that it officially happened! The North burst into war! At least two of the kingdoms up in the North are now fighting. This might make the other territories start fighting as well, but we'll see.
What happened? Well, Chess Mafia (@RaufUsSabid7), the team that we suspected was up to no good before was up to no good. They took h6 and automatically a war started against Your Worst Knightmare (@rohithbala) on g7. We're not in terrible danger, though, so don't worry. Because it's more like a small skirmish than anything. I think that Your Worst Knightmare knocked over a glass dish and broke it at a conference meeting and the dish belonged to The Chess Mafias. So a battle started between them, and The Chess Mafia is out for their lives.
As the news comes piling in on the North's first official war more territories are finding the north more hospitable, but as the towns begin to be built other nations may want that town as their own and fighting may start. The next leader to take a place in the North is @Divyaujjwal with his Lets Go team. They settled down on g8 and the possibility that they plan to attack Your Worst Knightmare as well has not be proven.
The very next day after settling on g8 Lets go attacks Your Worst Knightmare! The sadness hit us hard. We can no longer call the North calm or peaceful because yet another battle has begun between The Chess Mafias and Your Worst Kightmare. Now The latter is being attacked on two fronts in a formerly peaceful land. Here's a bit from a column from the Daily Med about a theory on Your Worst Knightmare:
"YWK No longer in control?
Today we have seen much change in the North. As noted in earlier days of this fanatic war the North remained pretty calm. This fact went along with the fact that Your Worst Knightmare (@Rohithbala) took g7 and they were alone in the North for some time.
After a long peace period in the North others began to settle and it is believed by many that YWK was actually controlling the colonies of the North. When the two Renegade Leaders emerged into the North the war began because it is also believed that The Chess Mafias and Lets go came to the North because it was easy prey.
This is proven because Lets got and The Chess Mafias both attacks Your Worst Knightmare. In fact, they set up their settlement right near YWK in order to be able to attack it."
To conclude today's news of the Medieval War there is one final event that took place, yet another leader has popped up into the North. @aaronizeratfges of Knights and Rooks of the Thunder Battle Champions (Known as KRT) They joined on f7 and we do not know yet, but most likely they are going to start a fight, maybe against YWK as well.
