lol ok
NCP - The Battle of Epping Forest

Okay, @EnterGame, we've done our testing.
The good news is: that we like this. It's creative, balanced, and sharp!
The bad news is: it's too sharp. Those double-attacks are relentless in the opening, and inexperienced players will get destroyed. Even experienced players, 2100+, aren't going to be able to see beyond two or three moves ahead, and it feels like, at that point, it's just about luck, and experience of what "feels right."
However, we respect the fact that it's still a fun game to play, and we want to encourage people to have fun on 4PC, just in this case, without losing rating. We're adding this as casual-only for now, although if this gets a lot of traction in the variant community, and it seems fair, we'll be open to changing our minds later.

The idea of casual listing is that some games might be too complicated to test and accurately evaluate. For example, Chaturaji BNRK Teams was listed for a long while before a forced mate was discovered for ry. However, we aren't going to decline well-made positions just because they are complex; and we also don't want people farming beginners for rating in overly complex games because we want to encourage new players. Consider it a "trial"; casual games may become rated if they are popular and the 4PC community likes them.
