Please, put screenshot or the game link, Fen4 is difficult to traduce because we have to remove all the "sad.png" and substitute it by : (

First, there are a big problem of board, you are not thrifty at all with space. To progress, you should learn to make the board at the good format to economize place so the squares will be bigger and it's will be more comfortable to play. 

You always use a 14x14 board.

 

For the first game, you can use a basic 4pc board, like this. 


The squares are much bigger because the clock is in the corner, and not bellow, so we  win the space who was bellow and upside so the board can be bigger. 

For this, is simple: you just have to click here:

 

For the second, is same.

Why put so much transparent bricks around? You can make a board 8x8 instead of 14x14.

For this, you click here and select "8"

And you repet the same at right, so you will have a board 8x8 so you will economize a lot of space and the squares will be much bigger 

 

Do you see the difference?

knights become rather one dimensional in their paths, so could the openings considering the very restricted board. having extra holes in the map outside the bridge area, for example k3 square can give knights extra moves and possibility to hide for rooks/king, similarly there can be extended knight jumps through inaccessible terrain or paths for bishops to move through or rooks to move through where the other type cannot.

the pawns become quite restricted, only being able to move sideways for some. certain pawns can be replaced with fairy pawns, like ones that can move diagonal or sideways naturally can add extra tempo to be gained and variety. using only natural pieces/amounts of pieces is similar idea but a thematic choice

imbalance if only because very difficult to determine due to the amount of pieces/fairy pieces used.

1 check for the bots is not good, that emphasizes taking them over immediately over strategic play. they should have less than the players in order to stop them being able to win easily, maybe 3 check. similarly they could have less pieces overall to lessen their impact on the game.

an issue on this template is that the king/knight can access the king of the hill very quickly if not opposed. some other piece type should be considered, but it should also not take too long to get to the hill. I have considered bishop but the path is very restricted and easy to cut off, rook similarly too quick like the knight but in that case it needs pieces to move out of the way first

It's just a game, whether it's too fast is not within the limits of my map, the biggest problem is that some people don't choose "confrontation", and there will be "snatch" in 2-Check or higher, I want to be fairer for people More intense battles instead of just "defense"
This becomes a matter of choosing the appropriate defense

actually sad.png doesn't need to be substituted, the system recognizes it

I think I just fixed it with the ferz royal instead of stone general, but I have deliberated over the appropriateness of each atomic/bare piece rule/torpedo.

This and the other position have similar weaknesses I feel, overuse of knight type can make it a game of waiting if you can not pressure your opponent into moving. If you combined the two more satisfactorily I think there would be something better here.
