Blitz is a midway (kinda) between bullet and rapid, so we thought it'd be a good TC.
Plus since most people do play Blitz generally, using Blitz rating as well was a good way to make up for not having the rating graphs for variants.
Not all people like bullet so wouldn't make much sense to use bullet instead.
Maybe bullet club tournaments with variants though? We'd need some more members for these to work of course, but could be fun.

Thanks for the respond, your reasoning makes sence (its jsut annoying for a varient player like my self who likes bullet )

So for preseason week 4 I played @speedycyclone and won 3-1. I asked him to report the result cause I was kind of in a hurry. I checked the results for later and found he said he won 3-1. Did the points count for Chess Ultramasters (My team) or The Dark Knights (speedy's team)
