Problems and questions - season 2016

A topic for questions and concerns. 

I would like to raise serious concerns about fair play of Team Burgas. They are constantly deleteting low rated players. Having average rating of their team 1538 and 57 members, somehow their lowest rated players for R2 match against Team Kyiv https://www.chess.com/groups/team_match?id=647192 is above this rating. How it could be?

The answer is simple, their admins doing everything possible to keep their low rated players out of their matches

Please advise

Many low-rated players are inactive: listed somewhere, but actually do not come to the site for years.

If you have a screenshot with some low-rated players registered but now removed, we can discuss it.

that's why I posted here the actual rosters to avoid any doubts before match starts

Your discontent is revealed now only because you are currently at a disadvantage. 

By accepting the matches from other tournaments, I try to help teams to better prepare for the current matches. If you'd have to play both against Zagreb and against another strong team during the same 1st decade of May (and did not get the expected result), you'd blame me for that.

So, this is your claim and you need to contact Referee Committee members BY YOURSELF.

Dear Joe, exactly, I am the TD and not a ping-pong ball and I explain you the way you can make your claims.

ECL rules only mention parallel WCL matches and it was unclear if a CWC match could be also taken in account for ECL. I have not seen any such agreements made before the match, so the situation was even more unclear. The decision of Anastasakisis fully his, I will not comment on it.

The situation with our competition is absolutely  different. I wrote explicitely several days before the match started that this CWC match is also an Open Cities Swiss match to let you better prepare and you did not object before the match, so you accepted my suggestion. This is 100% clear for me.

If it is not clear for you, you can try to persuade referees that I am wrong.

I think the decision is veru clear and accepted beforehand, well in time.

I think tournament director made a clear announcement beforehand, and confirmed his decision when you argued. As a referee I send mine confirmation as well.

How could you apply for a referee if you disrespect current rules of the tournament... it's absolutely inappropriate not just for a referee but as for a team admin especially

TD let you know beforehand that your game in WCL will be counted as well for this tournament. If it's not enough for you I just feel sorry but it won't make any difference
