Puzzle Points
https://www.chess.com/clubs/forum/view/new-club-member-with-a-questionPuzzle rating is awarded (or deducted) based on how much time was taken to solve the puzzle (if all moves are correct in a short period of time then you will receive more rating) and deducted/subtracted according to how many moves were solved correctly.
Eg. A 5 move puzzle requires one to solve 5/5 moves to gain rating. If one completes this puzzle under a given time threshold (let's say 1 minute) then bonus points will be awarded. Any amount of time taken greater than the threshold will result in +5 rating.
Rating loss:
More rating is lost for failing a puzzle at the start. Eg. 1/5 moves correct may result in -15 whereas 4/5 correct may result in -5 (or occasionally awards points?)

Does anybody in this Forum perhaps know why chess.com punishes a badly solved puzzle with -12 points, but rewards a well solved puzzle with only +5 points? Now I basically need three correctly solved puzzles in order to "compensate" for one that was badly solved
