I don’t think we added the king restoration of the time thief (It’s not part of the basic rules) So, that’s an illegal move
RandomDog #1, FINAL: Connect the Tree with Magician's Deathmatch - Puzzles vs. VM_LeaderAbhyudaya
Good game, guys. I will post the official victory to the tournament thread.
Hey, @VM_LeaderAbhyudaya exploited one of the f4,g4 moments in this configuration! (I think there was another one, but it escapes me at the moment.) Nice work, dude/dudette!
@Puzzles a better move would have been 2.Be1=M. Be2=M could also do.
I put four Bishops there for you to have wreaked benefit from it!
I'm sad to see this match end so soon (I spent a lot of time creating this setup!!), but yay to the player who exploited the quite easy checkmate. We have them littered all over the setup of this board, as we have one or two hidden in standard FIDE chess.
Sorry @Puzzles
This is quite an interesting and unique bulldog setup, so if both of you agree I would like to start over and play unrated.
Meanwhile, I officially anounce: wonderful efforts from both finalists in this tournament, folks.

Black won by Checkmate.
Great game to both.
In spirit of celebrating this tournament, as well as @VM_LeaderAbhyudaya's victory, I'd like to please turn our attention to the final annoucnement of the tournament's thread.
