Sound Issues

In daily games, the first move of the opponent when you open the board has been silent recently.

Also if you move very fast after another move, for example you anticipate a capture and instantly capture back, that second capture also doesn't seem to make a sound anymore

yesss! if i tend to move fast, and it happens as a second capture in puzzle rush, it doesnt make a sound.

Also sometimes in puzzle rush it is silent instead of the movement sound as well.

that is because the first sound is still playing

A few days ago all the sounds were playing. In short time control, the sounds are quite essential as cues for whose turn it is. So i there are two captures, but you can hear only one, you might think that it's your opponent's turn as you haven't heard them making a move and then your time runs out

The recaptures can be heard now, however there is a new issue. In tactics, if you capture a piece, and got it right, the computer recaptures, and you can hear both captures. Now if you get something wrong afterwards, and replay, the last move from the opponent is played. If it's a recapture, you can hear the capture sound twice now, even though now it should be one capture as your piece is already in place.

Also I feel like the delay between the sounds is a bit too long compared to the visual input.

The lowest sounds can be perceived by humans if it's at least 0.06s long, so maybe the delay should be no longer than 0,1s if it's a premove or an instant computer response
