strange quirk? has anyone else seen saved analysis come and go?

Hi all, first time posting here. Not sure if this will be helpful to you or not, or if anyone can help me, but I thought I'd describe a quirky situation that I'm noticing.

I am playing a fairly large # of daily games (for me -- around 20) and am trying to keep detailed notes on my in-game thoughts through the analysis board. I am listing potential moves that I'm looking at and trying to comment at key points re: what I'm thinking, to help with analysis later on...

I'm noticing an inconsistent situation that comes up... occasionally when I pull up the analysis board in the middle of one of these daily games, I will get a completely "fresh" move list without any of the previously saved analysis -- it's like I never saved anything previously. Except I know for certain that I did, and it was saved.

This "disappearing analysis" seems to happen entirely randomly. And, I think the missing analysis notes have actually returned later on in games, as well. It's apparently a very spotty bug that comes and goes.

I hesitated noting this here because I wasn't certain that it was really happening, but now I've seen the analysis temporarily disappear in multiple games where I am certain I had detailed lines saved previously. And I'm pretty sure I've seen the analysis return again later on, as well (several moves later). It is very strange.

has anyone else seen anything like this? I'm using firefox, if it makes any difference.

I apologize for the relatively vague description, I guess I will keep notes on which games I'm keeping notes on (!) and will submit a formal bug report with specifics later.

thanks,

-Peter

not to beat a dead horse, but here is a screenshot from a current example. I know with certainty that I had multiple lines saved to this game at the time of my last move -- within the last hour. Now it's my turn again, I go back in to analysis, and all of the info I added previously are gone. I will not be surprised 1-2 moves later to see all of the comments return.

I think it would be useful if I'm able to save the game analysis.

Yep, happened to me a few times. But they don't always come and go. They simply go and ...gone!

I've had some examples of the analysis coming back and other examples where it did not. I suspect the ones where it did not occurred when I saved new lines of analysis to a game where previous lines had disappeared.

for example, lets say on moves 4-10 I saved lines outlining what I was looking at with each move. Then on move 11 I returned to the analysis to find what I had entered from moved 4-10 is missing. I *think* (could always be wrong but this is the pattern I think I've seen) if I do not attempt to save a new analysis line at that point, there is a chance of the earlier lines coming back. If, however I just ignore that the earlier lines are missing and put in new lines starting on move 11 -- as soon as I save this new line it seems to over-write any chance I have of getting the original analysis back.

I hope that makes sense. It is hard to recreate / test this bug as it is inconsistent/intermittent. I dont know of a way to trigger the lost moves, it seems to happen randomly.

I've been posting notes to every single game I'm playing and so far I've not had any trouble with this  Do you have any ideas or patterns? is it a certain way that you access your games by chance?
