Take backs

since chess.com is a online chess website, it is different from Norman on the board chess. one is take backs. when I play rapid some times I make a stupid mouse slip caused me to lose the whole game. and my friends lets me take back on the board. But no take back for bullet or blitz because that what makes it fun

" But no take back for bullet or blitz because that what makes it fun."  If you could take back, it wouldn't be as useful for learning and having fun in the future.

Just add the confirmation button when playing rapid. You can literally turn it on during a game!

How?

You can only do it on mobile. But that is a feature that NEEDS to come to the site

Don't try asking for a take back in normal over the board tournament chess.

Can you imagine the whining if it were allowed?

@Waredude  Good suggestion to use the confirm button option. happy.png  It would be fine for longer timed games, just not Bullet obviously.  Sometimes the fun of Bullet is the intense game play and as @JapanMadePawn mentioned in their original post, mouse slips do occasionally happen from time to time.  If you play enough Bullet games, mouse slips happen to most players, but it's not the end of the world if it does.  You learn from the experience and move on.

We have considered this and even have the option for daily chess. I assume eventually it will come to live chess, but its not super high on the priority list.

I've already read this, but I haven't found the option yet. Thanks in advance to give a hint, how this option can be found and used.

You're looking for this option in Daily games, if I've understood your point correctly, Bernd! Correct?

If you select an Unrated game, then only, you can see the Takeback option. Enjoy!
