I am 2017 rated in FFA and when I try to create a new game with 2000+ option I see that I am getting queued in FFA game with no rating restrictions. Sometimes I was queued in 1800 - 2200 range, but not in 2000+.
I think the logic is to get me into most appropriate to my request game if there is no with my settings. Yeah, that makes sense. But sometimes it throws me in a game without rating range and I can't even cancel request in time, the game starts and I find myself playing with 1200s, 1400s

Looks like it happens for me all the time.
I enter 4PC, press "New Game", FFA 1900+ is set by default for me (I was 1900+ two days ago, before update) and press "Play 1900+". Then it immideatly throws me in FFA with no rating range. And now I'm writing this while playing with 1600, 1700. (P.S. I won)
The only explanation I can give is after update 4PC doesn't "see" my settings. Sometimes I tried to shuffle forth and back some settings and then it created 1900+ as needed. But I can't figure the dependency
It's possible some settings arent 'in sync' since the update and need to be changed to work again. I'm not sure to be honest.
One similar bug I noticed is that when choosing to invite players, it would put me in a normal queue (not open the invite window), had to try again once or twice.
In anonymous games, when red or yellow is checkmated, it says white or black checkmated respectively.
the wrong partner thing is true. games also, i put up a 1800 plus, it went to no rating, so i put up the 1800 while the no rating was going and the 1800 plus stuck, then i closed the no rating before any noobs got in there.
Yeah same problem with rating here. It only works (for 1900+ Teams) if there are no other options in the play queue.

yes it's always been like that, i havent found a good way. maybe @GDII can help?
you need to go back in the game first (so it stops following new moves) and then you can scroll up in peace.

Well, something that I managed to figure out is that happens only for 1|15D control. When I choose other control it says "Play <Time control>", for example, if I choose 1|5 2000+, it's written on the button "Play 1|5 2000+". But if I choose 1|15D, it's just "Play 2000+". I don't know whether it is ok or not. So seems like problem is only with 1|15D control

this bug better reserved for ur network company or browser
I think it happens when you visit 4pc the first time with a new browser. it's glitchy until after the first page reload. or until the second time you change something.
I've had it happen sometimes, but most of the time it works fine, no idea what it is.
I notice the same thing happens with chesscom live chat (which is ouside 4pc), in which case i reload the window and that usually fixes it, but i wonder if it's related (eg something page-wide).
I found that it seems that in general capturing an enemy king, to get out of check is possible in FFA, but if I change the game mode to kings, then capturing the enemy king, to get out of check and end the game suddenly becomes impossible.
For instance in this position, in FFA mode the red rook could capture the blue king after the green knight moved even though the red king itself was in check from the blue bishop.

^^ my attempt to convince ppl.
For me the same experience as MIkeChesser. Sometimes my rating restriction via the customize button works but more frequently it does not. Luckily often I find it fun to play with 1300s as team mates but sometimes it is really a pain in the neck, when they don't seem to care at all.
another harmless thing: the resign button does not work for me in teams. By the way I am using Firefox on Mac OS X 10.9.5

- occasionally board doesn't rotate until it's your turn. (you can rotate the board anytime manually, icon in top right corner)
- occasionally unable to move. (reloading the window should fix it)
- occasionally wrong teammate in game (are you sure you clicked 'Invite' and not 'Play again'?)
