Les and Bob? They disagreed on the meaning of Apostasy and whether its true or not? I believe Bob is a total Calvinist. Leslie does take some calvinistic teachings in his ideas. It bugs me though how they can do two things at once

When we don't believe The Truth according to GOD then there will arise varied and strange teachings, contradictions. These can only bring about and cause division. No good can come of them.
It requires humility in order to be able to see as GOD Is Opposed to the proud but Gives Grace To the humble.
There is indeed a falling away from The faith. 1 Timothy 4.
Are not those who act as you have recognised yet name themselves as followers of CHRIST the evidence of it?

As our LORD JESUS Says, "You will know them by their fruits."
We are Called to be of the same mind and of the same judgement in matters pertaining to GOD. 1 Corinthians 1:10, Romans 15:5-6.
For those that argue amongst themselves and will bring contentions and strife wherever they are because of the hardness of their heart and their lacking humility, James 3:13-18 says it all.

This is a continuation of the conversation on notes. It was too much to fit onto notes so I thought it better to put this as a forum.
I will start by putting the notes as they were posted, from when they began and this whole conversation started with a question to the group from me.
I will put them as they appear on notes (but in a correct reading order as on notes multiple notes are read from the bottom up).
The initial notes from me:
I have a question. Do you seek to know to understand The Knowledge Of GOD, or are you happy with what you know and how you understand at present, regardless of what is shared? Is your desire Colossians 1:9:12? Scripture points us to knowing GOD, John 17:3. Scripture can be just words shared, and often is, and not seeking to understand so as to know The Living GOD. Encouraging, allowing GOD to Teach through one another is according to Scripture.
This is a question to all in the group who call themselves by HIS Name and who share here as such.

To answer your question Paul, I want to always continue pursuing Christ and not being complacent with where I am. The verses and insight shared on here build up indeed! I can see how you would feel like posts are ignored, but I think some people are inactive or some people read and are enriched but may not have anything to share at the moment. I don't know if you've heard of these two clubs, but there is active daily fellowship in these groups, if you are interested in joining!

Thank you Joe. I do appreciate your words. But those groups you have mentioned have as their superadmin or admins those who in the past here on chess.com have refused The Word Of GOD for the sake of their religion. I cannot put myself under their authority when their authority is not The LORD'S but their own. If a man speaks with authority and that authority is The LORD'S then this I will both listen to and look to be obedient to, as should we all. But when...

...Bob and Leslie some years ago argued from themselves in a matter, yet in it refused The Word. One of these out of spite and in the middle of conversation chose to disable a group I'd started for the same purpose I then started this one. Their flesh prevailed; they've not known repentance in it. We are Called to turn away from such as these, not blindly fellowship with. Matthew 18:15-17. James 1:19-25, Psalm 119:137-144.

Ah I see. Sorry to hear about that experience with them, I didn't know that happened. To me, they don't give off that sort of authoratative persona as I've fellowshipped with them, but I don't know what happened back then. Regardless, yes may we keep praying for discernment and wisdom from God and His Word, to judge righteously.

But it is not 'regardless' as a Christian; a Saint, meaning, most Holy one. This is not in the heart of a Saint.
And to judge Righteously means rightwiseness according to GOD.
Joe, to pray for wisdom from GOD requires faith to Receive, James 1:5-8. We do not, we do not, need discernment more than what GOD already Gives and HIS Word makes clear. It is if we hear, or not!
And I here make you aware of what we seem not to consider, that If people were actually held accountable according to The Word Of GOD when they spoke or acted or preached and taught contrary to Scripture, and how Scripture actually instructs is actually applied in dealing with each and every matter as it arose, then more people would be fearful of being arrogant and prideful in maintaining the flesh and their own ways and wisdom.
But more than this, GOD would be honoured and Glorified through obedience to HIS Word.
We are not to pick and choose what we will accept and listen to and/or will allow the flesh to prevail in on our walk and make excuses for others that do so!
To do so is quite simply not living by faith in GOD.
It is not following in the footsteps of JESUS CHRIST. It is not living confessing JESUS CHRIST.
Hear Hebrews 10:26-39 because it applies to all men; and with no partiality.
Matthew 4:4.
Hearts are shown for what they truly are; either given to GOD, or living refusing The Sanctifying Work Of The HOLY SPIRIT and so receiving The Grace Of GOD in vain.
That is what it is and hearts will be known by it and are known by it.
1 Timothy 1:5.
Fools despise Wisdom and Instruction.
Psalm 1. Proverbs 1:20 - 2:15.
We cannot defend them. We cannot make excuses or allowances for them and then say we always look to follow GOD.
Look at how Paul writes to Titus and to Timothy in the Instruction in his letters to them and in The Wisdom and Foreknowledge Of GOD To us also.
Look at how Paul writes to believers at Ephesus!
Just because you have not experienced what I'm telling you happened with me it does not excuse them or leave them guiltless, or any other believer free to fellowship with them after knowing.
They need to know repentance in it. And through repentance will seek for reconciliation.
Do not forget, for all these things we do we shall personally give account to GOD for.
They, as of now, are hypocrites. They stand in hypocrisy.
As what happened with me, if you were to recognise something they stand on as being error, disagree with them by standing on The Word to show them their error and refuse to move if they stubbornly chose to hold to it, then you will see very different people as I did.
Their true self will emerge and it is called hypocrisy. I will here include links so you can see and read for yourself what happened with what was said.

It got to the point where I had to block them as they just would not hear, could not hear and continued in their self justification and dishonouring GOD.

We cannot justify ourselves, though very sadly and as you will see many do. It will not Save them on that Great and Terrible Day. John 12:44-50.
