In this game North America is devoid of native peoples. It's more like vacation land for pilgrims in love, to misquote Jackson Browne...totally ready for exploitation of resources. The robber has been changed into an outlaw, however, to provide local color.

The Catan franchise has grown so much I don't even try to keep up with it anymore let alone buy all the available products. Most of my gaming energy goes straight into chess nowadays. But here is the latest offering that I'm aware of: The Settlers of America: Trails to Rails. This incarnation focuses on the expansion of the United States across the North American continent.
