Welcome all to TransformationDog match no. 1. This is a standalone match and isn't a part of a tournament series.

This match is home to pieces that has the capability to either change itself or change another piece.

In place of each the Witch and Guard are a Metamorph. Replacing the Knights are Spirits. Replacing the Queen is the Werewolf.

At the moment of this posting, no contestant is yet playing this match. Sign up! First two to confirm will play the game.

Interesting

BattleChessGN18

Thanks.

@Puzzles If no one joins by November 7th, I will have more free time by then to be your opponent here. You can consider it our second HoneDog match.

comradM

BattleChess, can you add two more slots to this match?

If you have more free time on November 7th, and it is only a matter of this starting point when you (and perhaps also Evert?) can join, then I can wait until then and will join, too. Since Puzzles already joined, it is awesome if we can have a small 4-player tournament, isn't it?

BattleChessGN18

Sure, @ComradM, we can turn this into a 4x4 mini-tournament!

Of course, I was also amid setting up another configuration. Have a look!

Maybe this one^^ can be the second/final round.

evert823

That sounds nice?

But what exactly are the pieces in the second setup?

comradM

In the second setup, on square i1 is the Angel because of the wings. For the other Bulldog pieces, have tried to remember how to identify them (once we had a puzzle about that) but failed.

From my side, it would be ok if all games are played with the first start position, but of course, if the majority likes a second setup, I agree with that.

BattleChessGN18

Sorry, folks. I'm at my university al day, conducting errands and tasks; and finishing assignments!

Will come back to this tonight.

Evert, to make things as easy as I can at the moment, what Comrad's referring to is a thread that contains the 3D designs to most of the Bulldog pieces. (The Metamorph wasn't included, either because I didn't know about it at the time, or it was invented some time after.) Basically, I had all willing participants play a guessing game as to what piece was what, and then, I forked over the answer key in the end. That thread should be a page or two back. (It was entitled along the lines of "My Having Accomplished 3D designs"; something to that affect.)

ComradM, if you can find that thread for me, please provide link to it here. Thanks.

Edit - Ah!! Here it is.

Also, it might behoove us to have a legend for reference.

(It may take a moment to load. After it does, first revolution of frames may sag. After that, gif should animate just fine.)
