Using a Username as a Link Error
@Epic_Sans When I click on the hyperlink of your username, it shows up with the image below. Is this what you're trying to get happen or is it a direct link to the person's profile what you want to happen?

LOL for me it goes to create a new topic!!
yeah thats the link he put in there
The example link resolves to: https://www.chess.com/forum/post?gid=31642
and the username link resolves to: https://www.chess.com/member/epic_sans
as shown in the screen shots:
You can make a link resolve to any address for example

creates this link that resolve to this topic via right-click open link or CTRL-click
Yeah but I don't understand why I can't go to my profile if I use my username as a link. It just says Error?!
This is a test. Just plain text, @ followed by Epic_Sans:
@Epic_Sans
Does this work for you?
It is mouse active as shown:

How about this link? Does it work for you?
https://www.chess.com/member/epic_sans
@jas0501 That link brings me to his profile. I'm just letting you know it works for me.
@Epic_Sans If it doesn't work for you, I think it's a problem with the device your using (either computer or mobile phone) or the Internet browser you're using to access chess.com. However, it could also be an isolated bug on the site.
@Epic_Sans Have you tried accessing the link on a different device or Internet browser? At least if it works on a different device or browser, you'll most likely know it might be a problem with the primary device or browser you're using.
For example, I had an odd issue with my email (Hotmail) a few days ago. Every time I tried to log in, I got an error message and couldn't check any email. I tried accessing my email from a different browser and it worked fine. I uninstalled the browser I normally use and reinstalled it and the email worked fine.
Not sure what caused the problem. It just appeared randomly, out of nowhere. But the fastest and easiest way I could think to solve it, was to simply reinstall the browser itself, once I determined most likely my problem was a result of something to do with the browser and not the website (Hotmail) or my computer.
So I was putting a link down with a Chess.com username to use as a link. But it when I tried going to the account instead of the link, it kept saying Error?!?!
Example: @Epic_Sans
I don’t understand why it won’t let me. Others say that it works fine for them, but I’ve tried on different devices on the same account. Same results. It might have something to do with the account, but I’m not sure.
