i am reading it right now
WGM Dina Belenkaya's Beginner Intermediate Study Guide (1000-1400 Elo)
I am 1550 bullet, 1425-ish blitz and 1350 rapid. Do you think i should use this course?
As someone who's more like 1200 Bullet / 1400 Blitz / 1700 Rapid, I'm always surprised to see a rating curve the other way around. The table at Chess Rating Comparison – ChessGoals.com suggests that Bullet < Blitz < Rapid is more common. Any idea why your Bullet rating is so good compared to your Rapid? Is it just because I'm old and you're young, so your brain works faster?
Tried to set up Max Lange Attack but it went in a bit of a different direction ![]()
After my opponent blundered, I missed the best move, but still ended up with a very nice checkmate
I like her and the fresh ideas of her "russian school method" .. but:
29-49$ monthly is really to high. I would pay monthly 5-10$ or yearly a maximum of 120$. If chess GMs offers better price scaling, so more people will join courses like hers (imho).
The current price plans of her and other GMs training are really too high! For most of us is chess a hobby, fun, and not a job ![]()
"I'm 2500 bullet, 2500 blitz, and 2500 rapid, should I read this?"
The post literally says, "Study Plan: Beginner Intermediate - 1000 to 1400"
You obviously don't need to read this, and nobody cares about your elo flex.
I am a student of her program and run IRL meet-ups for adult learners. I use some of her content and all her book recommendations as a starting point for newer players. The huge plus for working with her is the community. Lots of people willing to play spar and engage in the online community.
Her game game review is brutally honest and easy for non pros to understand. She tells it like it is with passion and knowledge
I highly recommend her community for newer players that want more than a study plan. You will find a connection with other awesome people and get great feedback.
