What is the purpose of the landing page on Chess.com?

Hi everyone!
I’m a bit confused on Chess.com 😅
When I go into my club settings, I see there’s an option to create a landing page.
👉 Can someone explain what it’s actually for?
👉 Is it useful for attracting members, or does it serve another purpose?

It is what people see when they are logged out or do not have an account yet.

I just copy and paste my club description there so it is the same.
