maybe compass like crafting the item is useless because just opening up the compass crafting recipe will already make the compass work(in pe)

wtf Emerald is really really hard to find since 11.8 update it changes the location of every ore in minecraft emerald ore too and if you do a emerald beacon that's waste a time you can Just use iron easy to find and valuable too!

You'd have to be very unlucky to not find a village, if you look for more than a few minutes. Also, zombie villagers are curable.
