I play all homebrew

Mostly Homebrew but I do enjoy some modules from time to time. Especially Curse of Strahd.

I like to do both as well. I have my own world but I like using modules too. When they travel to other world's, planes, and realms.  They are a lot of fun. Plus they can come in handy when they go really off the beaten path.

I've always run pre-written campaigns, but even with those the stories go in directions that often aren't mapped out.

One of the nice things about using published modules is that there are some great maps you can buy for them - I've bought some from the Cartographer's Guild and they were fantastic

Never used a module always run a custom campaign. As for maps you guys might like wonderdraft. It's one time fee of 30 dollars and makes map making super easy. A lot of free stuff out there now too but ive paid for this so I stopped shopping around lol.
