I recently played this game:

I won, but only on time. I was outplayed in the middle game, despite a great opening. I completely missed 16. Bf5!, because when you play the same tactic over and over, you never expect it to fail. Just a slight difference on how to position the queen on a diagonal nearly cost me the game. The line the engine suggests as the main way for black to keep the initiative other than defending perfectly is:
17. Qf3, Bg6 18. h5, Bc2 19. h6, Bxg5 20. hxg7, Nxg7 21. Qh3, Bh4!!!!
The point of this post is to remind us not to get too comfortable, especially when we are playing complicated gambits. Even after this flawed game, the Greek Gift remains MMYYYY GAAAMMBIT MYYY LEGACCYYY
