Western Mass Chess Club

Looking to start the Western Massachusetts Chess Club in Palmer Massachusetts - right of Mass Pike exit 8.  The club would host rated tournaments. The Burger King locations on Rt 5 in west Springfield and Kind Street in Northampton is not ideal to say the least. I have the opportunity to secure a nice location in Palmer but I need to gauge interest first. The main idea is to start a lasting club with robust membership. My vision is to establish this club for years to come and provide a venue for players in Palmer, Ludlow, Springfield, Belchertown, Monson, Agawam, West Springfield and other nearby surrounding towns. Like the old Springfield Chess Club back in the 90's, I would like it to run from 7:00PM until midnight. Please indicate if you are interested.
