Pretty good article, other than continuosly not capitalizing all the letters in FIDE. It's an acronym - FIDE, not Fide. Kinda like how Elo is not an acronym, so it's not ELO.

Fide elections take place in September, when chess federations from 165 countries will vote. Karpov is enlisting support from other federations fed up with Ilyumzhinov's rule.
