I see that the last tournament before the WC that Caruana is playing (the Isle of Man Open) ends 14 days beforehand. While this seems like enough time to recover, is there any risk of potentially showing your level of preparation too close to the event? One might say that Caruana will hold back so as not to reveal too much, but if that's the case, in what way would such a tournament even beneficial to him then?
