Chessboxing

Just a quick advert for the fact that I'll be taking part in a chessboxing tournament in London on March 26, 2011 if anybody is interested.

All money raised is going to charity and it promises to be a fun night out.

Blitz chess and boxing. What more could you want?

Is alcohol involved?

You mean for the players or the spectators!?

Certainly after for the players, yes. The spectators are encourgaed to have as much fun as possible. It can get quite rowdy!

The first time I saw "chessboxing" I thought it was a silly joke.  

Now I think it is awesome :)
