I'm curious if anyone else spotted the Peter Doggers piece on FIDE finances that appeared briefly on chess.com yesterday (8/24). It seemed to only have been up for a few moments, but since the internet is forever, Google has a cached version here. The google cache indicates 182 reads and one comment.
It seems like a reasonable topic to report on, so I wonder why it appeared and was then removed. Perhaps it's just getting editorial review? The basis for it is an FIDE report, which the piece cites, that remains online here, so it is covering public information.
