Confessed to me

Dear chess.com, This is [removed -- MS] . I think I should start by confessing: I cheated. and it was one of the stupidest things I've ever done online, or in real life. I have lost lots of respect from the community, my friends might not be my friends after this, and I feel horrible and guilty. I am so sorry to anyone who respected me and now no longer does. I'm so sorry guys. What I did is unacceptable. I got tilted and deciding I wanted some cheap rating points, so I started cheating. That is probably the dumbest possible reason to cheat but it is mine. I originally was going to try and argue and combat the claims, saying that "it is possible to get 95+ 5 games in a row if all of your opponents are playing less that 60". This is true, and I probably could have gotten away with making this argument and allowed back onto the site, but I was so worried about the amount of guilt and pain I would feel if I did this I decided against it. Also, I felt that if I were to make this argument, I would have half my friends believe me and I would be a bad friend, and half of them not believe me and talk behind my back and not trust me. That sounds awful to me, so I figured I would go with having maximum transparency with everyone and formally confess. Also, I didn't realize Arena Kings was a money tournament. You can believe or not believe this if you want, it is up to you, I wouldn't blame you if you called B.S. and didn't believe any of that. I just want to make it clear: I would never, ever cheat for money, that is way bigger than just rating points in my opinion. To summarize: I'm sorry to everyone I hurt, and I'm sorry to the players I cheated against. I hope that everyone can forgive me, because chess is about 75% of my social life, and I don't want to lose my friends. I'm sorry guys. Also mods please don’t close this forum, I am not trying to do anything bad I just want my friends to know how I feel.

The member in question should contact support about that; it's not something for the forums.
