getting paired with very low rated players

I am getting paired with players that are at least 1000 points rated below me, and it is becoming more frequent. Anyone have this issue?

That's strange. I'm having the complete opposite problem: I always get paired with people within 150 rating points of myself and I never get the opportunity to play people significantly better or worse than myself.

Adjust your game pairing settings. You can set - or + your rating to get paired with.

Yeah I've tried this and no matter what I set, I always get paired with someone within 150 rating points of myself.

I could say (-25, +500) and it will never pair me with someone 150+ points above me.

I'm genuinely curious how the OP gets paired against people 1000+ points below them.

Do you play tournaments? Or is this just finding games through the lobby?

I actually just find games through the lobby. Most of my games have normal rated opponents, but a bit of them have players rated sometimes below 1000. Obviously, it is difficult to find in my game history, but that's because I play so much bullet chess

Do you accept challenges?

PS if people set your settings fairly wide then there may still not be that many potential opponents distant from them because there would need to be an opponent with wide settings chosen before an opponent with narrow settings is chosen.
