So true!  I look over my games from last month and think, " Wow!  I am getting better! "

(Note:  I play a different chess app. My rating on there is now 1427, but that's ridiculous. I'm about a 600. My rating on chess.com says 1,000 [I think that's the default rating when you join] and Im not that good and cannot get chess.com to lower my rating so can play folks with around my level of skill. )

But yes,  I think your answer is 100% correct. 

I also find using the "Learning" option when playing the chess.com computer helpful. Especially on the website, vs the app.

On the website, we can access in depth analysis of our games, including what we should study next. 

   Under normal circumstances, they do a good job in the forums about what you mentioned in post 131......but with this virus driving everybody crazy I think the're allowing a more wider latitude for some threads.

Yeah, I saw at least a little politics in the COVID  / corona topic. I think that's good they're letting some stuff go.

They have the same rating, mannerisms, they play the same openings, and in spite of challenging anyone and everyone to a game, if you ask them to play each other they will block you.

I know I'm not always the model citizen here, but I think sometimes that user is pushing it.

    The 2 threads she created was nothing BUT harrassment for any member....new or old.

As an objective, unbiased viewer on this fiasco... I am almost Certain @llama and @llemonade and @Stiggling etc. are the same person. Writing style, temperament, play standard... real guy. @colby needs to calm. And why such high emotion? Sounds like an Italian vendetta.

Dang...I joined chess.com to get away from all the chaos going on in this world. My friend's a pathologist who was working on COVID-19 until March 17th, when their's and other labs ran out of supplies (as of yesterday,  many the COVID-19 pathologists who were working on the virus for the CDC, have been reassigned because they don't have the materials they need). 

My point? 

All things considered, how about we all try to get along. 

And yes,  I can't believe the amount of trolls chess.com allows in these forums. It's rather disheartening.

I'm not being a pollyanna here. I'm disabled from spine injury and am on my 14th year of being inside. Life is short.
