When I lived in a larger city, I had a cell phone. Started with the brick flip phone in 1994 and moved to the mini flip phone sometime in the 2000's. When we moved a few years ago to a small town, I got rid of the cell phone. As I only used it to make telephone calls, there really wasn't anyone to call or who would call me. Yes, I'm a dinosaur with a land line; however, we do own three laptops, so not completely locked into the dark ages . . .
On a different topic, to paraphrase an expression that is 2,500 years old, "The only constant in life is change." Or, as Bob Dylan espoused in the mid-60's, "The times, they are a changin'." Sometimes change is good, sometimes, not so much . . . I'm not liking so much some of the recent changes.
I've seen those flip phones advertised and the monthly charge very low . . .
Hm. who would i call? . . . Who would call me! Most of my friends are dead already . . .
My four sons call once in a while . . . I get crank scam call daily . . .
I'm on Facebook with 87 friends . . . Mostly family and bowlers . . .
Could be i will try one soon . . . Maybe . . .
i still have a old landline . . .
