i had a similiar bug.
I had to play Grob opening against her multiple times (didnt have to finish the match) to get her to say "wait till March 10th"

Madam mate says '..yes. I threw wine on The Green Pawn. I wanted him to change out of that stupid outfit!' implying that she didnt want him there at that moment. Could this be so that someone could murder the green pawn when he went to change?

She also says 'Remy Rook, now there’s someone who knows how to dress.' so when green pawn went to change... could that say that remy killed him and mate was conspiring with him?
It told me also to check on March 10

All the other players had alliterative names, so Green Pawn is probably a pseudonym. The Green Pawn is always referred to as a he, so if it was one of the players it would either be Professor Passant or Remy Rook. The professor doesn’t strike me as a major suspect and Remy Rook had the Green Pawn’s journal. He could have been changed out of costume due to the stain and someone found it and assumed he’s dead. Remy could have been giving up the Green Pawn, or “killing him”. It’s probably not true, but it was a fun theory that I can consider, at least until tomorrow.

I literally remember her saying, "No more for now. Come back and see me after March 10th!" Did you actually play and win the game with the Grob's opening against Madam Mate? If you didn't, that might be the issue. Otherwise, I'm not sure what to tell you if that doesn't work.....
