I'm tired of higher rated players, who are not actually that high rated themselves, throwing pieces at me and when they miss a tactic start screaming that I'm a cheater.
twice I had this happen in blitz tournament yesterday and one time it was so off putting that I lost, I was already fairly stressed trying to give my best against someone 200 points better than me, and then to add to that I had to deal with being accused of cheating and being insulted, which obviously adds more stress.
it's patently not fair, it's basically bullying and chess.com needs to do more to sort these situations. players should have the games reassigned as losses, resigning at the point they started throwing insults. if you think someone is cheating, report them and you will get your points back, but why should players have to deal with defending themselves and at the same time as playing a game.

Yes, you can not say that you are a good person, because you have done something "bad". Everyone is guilty of something and won't that make us bad people? Many people who post rude things are 1. Seeking Attention 2. Mad about something 3. You don't know their full story. They could be hurt and yelled at by their parents and it reflects back through them. Don't judge people before you know the whole story. No one is born good or bad, it is how typically how they grew up that affects their behavior.

There is a solution to this..! You can go to settings...Privacy...then click on Game chat (live) and click allow chat and click "nobody!!" NO ONE will be able to chat!!!!Thats the best trick..!

When they graduated (somehow) they expected the world to be the same. It wasn’t. It isn’t. So they act out just like they did long ago. And society rewards them. Wait, maybe you really didn’t want a real answer.
