So guys.

I have been wondering why do some people that get closed because of abuse always get missed by people? They are abusers...right?

I'm just asking you guys, can't understand it on my own.

I talked to my some friends who were closed. So, they couldn't understand why their profile were closed. I think it is because of abuse, they maybe just forgot what they wrote here.

Um....Are you talking about CM Chessadepti by chance? Just asking!

The mere basics….

Closed accounts for abuse most often are recent. They are likely repeat offenders who have made a few “friends” along the way. Perhaps multiple accounts- doesn’t matter. “You are often judged by the associations you make “

Missing a member who was abusive- huh…. gotta think they approve of the behavior. Don’t buy this rig-a-moral about “oh- he never acted bad towards me” stuff

its really ridiculous like for godsakes these guys are violators of chess and we are supposed to act like they didnt do crap to others? i dont get none of these people anymore and at times i just find this so ridiculous that people care for those cheapskates

I don't thing this was an expected answer because chess.com adds a message to the profile according to abuse and cheating, if abuse, abuse message, if cheat, cheat message

some people do not abuse but due to consicutive reports of people chess.com has to ban them or people may get upset

Abuse does not necessarily mean “abusing other people” but instead refers to abusing TOS. And it’s natural to miss someone who you’ve talked to a lot. Actually I know someone who got kicked out of my school chess team for cheating, but I am still friends with him. Doing bad things in chess does not harm my personal relationship with them as a person.

You are honestly mistaken if you think thats how the system works

Being Closed for Abuse does not mean you abused. Please actually know what that means before posting.

That doesn't validate your point. A user could have violated the community guidelines around 2 months before being detected . He can still be punished.

Although I've found the chat somewhat restrictive at times, you would have to be a proper idiot to get banned from here.

Well yeah

Wits-end

Why do people still cheer for the Houston Astros?  When traded, why do people cheer for the cheater’s new teams? I’m quite sure we’ll never answer the question as it relates to the human experience and what we choose to be conscience or mindful about. What if my favorite player was traded to the Houston Astros? Would I still cheer for him? Personally I can’t support cheating (abuse of TOS) and they get what they deserve. Or do they? Opening new accounts seem to void any type of penalty and some even flaunt it. Cheating has always existed and will never be completely eliminated, so I choose to let those who monitor it, do so. I’ll let my mind be occupied with other thoughts. Certainly there are more valuable things to ponder.
