Why is everyone changing their username?

I have noticed that a lot of people were changing their usernames. (including me ) why?

My old name is sriflower, I changed It To killerKnight 29 cuz KillerKnight is cooler, and Gives IDK i guess a more frightening impression on My opponent, Not that I wanna freak them out so much They run around the house, Not play a move and abort on move one  though! But still, Probably cuz they have new Ideas for cooler usernames

You can only change it twice, even if you’re a paying member, which is frustrating. I’m now on my second username, but would like to use the one I use on lichess... Oh well ☹️
