Anyone else ever seeone of these? My neighbor found it at the thrift store and gave it to me. I don't think I'll play games on it but was just wondering if anyone has any info on it-

I've seen them around, but never used one myself.

Seem perfect for blitz.

Have you tried the fax #  ??

There are lots of pictures of these online with pieces on them. I am sure it is at least $30 if bought new. But as far as using one it seems extremely impractical. You wouldn't be able to slide pieces either during the game or when showing a move to someone when you might want to move it back and forth. More importantly there doesn't seem to be any purpose to having the board in that shape.

I got one of those for Christmas last year. I don't think I'd care to play 3D but the boards and pieces are nice.

It looks like it would be useful for blind people.

They would be able to tell the ranks and files by feel.

IMHO

It doesn't really seem practical at all. I think my neighbor picked it up for $5? But she was being nice and I appreciate it but now I'm thinking of making an ad and selling it- if it sells. It doesn't have pieces, either.

Thx for input, everyone
