Yes it is. I can finally buy something from them after I read a review about it.
There will be a few new colors added to my bounty of BCE Stage 1 Blitz 3D printed sets and one brand new version of the Dubrovnik printed from STL files found on the Thingverse website from Ifekali. One set the transparent red will rotate with other previous sets I already obtained from Ifekali.
It will be a colorful way to play blitz games going forward.
The new BCE colors are;
I think I may be a distant relative.
Well, I would be a closer relative then. His first name is Jorge and my last name is Suarez. Oh yeah, and red is my favorite color 😏
Seriously, these sets are really nice. The colors and finish make for some very nice sets. Enjoy, my friend.
Thank you Ron I must admit the transparent PLA filaments are really catching my eye of late.
Take a look at these new offering that the company Prusa is now selling.
Red Hood Transparent
Green transparent
...and Morning Sun transparent, all great resolution colors when printed out!
It looks like I have to speak to Izmet about these as well. "As much as I try to get out, they keep pulling me back in!"
New entries;
Note- I have a few matching finials that are still en route to be delivered, you may notice the Lime green set is missing the matching transparent red ball finials. I have about 6 bishops that will match with other colors properly. In case you're wondering.
Lime Green and Silky Black
Transparent Red and Lime Green.
Yes, they do look like hard, rock candies but at the time of requesting the solid red color, the company that sells the PLA was out of stock so I settled for Transparent Red.
There is another solid more vibrant "Lipstick Red" on the way with Silky Yellow opposite army which will be a nice combination.
Well, I don’t want to anger you but I actually did buy that Leuchars set and the 3.5” Murphy set in both Sheesham and Ebonized. And they are nice.
Maybe we can convince Carl to start selling on this side of the pond again.
Great news! I emailed OS about their 3.5 Cooke Edition in boxwood ebony and it will be available in 6 weeks. They also confirmed they already resumed shipping to the US due to high demand. So I guess I will be buying a set from them in 6 weeks.
This is very good news for people on this side of the pond that want to buy really nice sets at very reasonable prices.
Carl is the seller of Staunton designed sets as Gregor is to the Dubrovnik sets.
