Hi,
although I did not want to buy an opening book anymore, I did it again. Again and again I buy opening books and most often this behaviour results in a growing chess library without growing chess knowledge. Maybe in the next two hundred years I will be able to read all the books I collected.
However, I recently found a fascinating book about Gambits and Sidelines for black against irritating openings Like the King's Gambit and other common e4 opening like Bishop or the Vienna.
I probably can not remember all that engine checked moves and won't dare to play it ever OTB. But online I will try to use some of this secret weapons.
So if your are interested in rare lines like Calabrese Countergambit, Wagenbach Defence or Jaenisch Gambit this book is potentially the right thing for you to surprise your opponent.
But only if you have good memories.
I recommend the work of Jonathan Tait.
