A potential way to study Silman's How To Reassess Your Chess 4th Edition

After each game (in a longer time control, not blitz) look it over, and for say, the first game, you see what pieces you neglected to use to their full potential (bishops and rooks, say) and reread the chapter on those pieces. For the next game see if you got too reactive and read the chapter on that, and so forth.

Another way is to read it from start to finish, cover to cover.
