an idea about playing against one another…..

Well you almost witnessed me drop an entire knight. Are we playing touch rule?
I don't have enough experience with KID to know, but if these are the kind of spicy positions you get from it then I think I'll enjoy it.

Great game!
I always wanted to play the Nimzo Larsen, never managed it nearly as well as you did. Really enjoyed it.

And GG @squar3z! chess.com's captcha system will NOT accept my codes (I've tried over 10 times now) so here's the message I have been trying to send to you.
"Yeah, I was stunned by how far it says we were in "book" ... I suspect that means these King's Indian style openings have a pretty natural flow where you can blast out moves in any old order and it'll surely have been played by someone. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ "

I'm up for another game (as black this time?) but I won't be able to start until tomorrow - about to leave for a local shogi club meetup - fingers crossed the chess will have helped.

I really like having one game going at a time so I don't feel rushed on the second game after thinking for 20 minutes or whatever on the first. But maybe that's yet another sign that I need to get better with my speed. 😹 But also with only one game and with writing down the moves I'm finding it feels like I'm actually playing a classical OTB game somehow in a way I can't understand. I'm not allowing myself to touch or move around the pieces as if I was sitting across from my opponent and I'm really enjoying that restriction. Good times.

@krames
Yes it was a great game and I enjoyed it aswell. I love the larsen opening and I have different variants i like to play. So might change it up next time against you. You had many strong moves and I fell short and failed successfully again 🤣

@lotsoblots
Yes it was kinda impressive 😄 I want to try something against you next time we play. Been looking at our game abit. Chess.com has server issues so I think thats why the message did not appear.

@Powderdigit i would like to challenge you 😊 il send you an request
And away we go @squar3z - enjoy. This is a little reconditioned vintage board and the Philippines pieces borrowed, for this game, from a folding board that I have - circa 1960’s/70’s.

Samples from the woodguy. Pay Three and Dark Walnut will be the wood i use for my New Board. Will cost me around 80dollars for the wood.
