any engine that measures skill level?

Is there any engine that measures skill level?

And no, I don't mean the gimmicky rubbish that Fritz dies with "betting" on the next game against the computer.

I mean that each move is compared to the engine's moves and the correspondence or lack of it gives you a skill ELO for the game, regardless of the result.

If Shredder or Fritz 8 have such a facility I haven't managed to find it.

I have heard of such an animal, but I don't know the name of it. I am told there is someone who does. I keep meaning to ask him. I'll try to find out and then post, if no one else does.

every chess player should have one in my opinion also, but I have to wonder how accurate they can be. I have a way of being able to figure out a close approximation, but it is more erroneous and takes a lot more work.
