Are these Genuine Jaques Rooks, Antique Or? Belong with a 4in weighted set

Haven’t made acquisition.
interesting is how the weights are used to ID Jaques sets. Can you explain please.
This was contested by another experienced chess set collector/dealer. The pic is my owned Library Set from 1870 with original box. It seems that for 5 cents one had the option to purchase a weighted set. BI became proud owner and will tell folks that weighted sets helped keep them from being mixed with other pieces. So finding a Library set and by Jaques adding the weights might not be possible?
can You see by this photo what is true about that set?
As for the other set I doubt if the seller wants to expose the weights for viewing and discernment. I just thought that a Jaques Rook would have a flat plateau unlike this which is counter sunk off the rim. Would that cause one caution?

Sorry. Definitely weighted, I have that set on loan and will make a clear photo of the weight in that king to Post here. Because I am interested in what true weights in Genuine Jaques Vintage sets would look like.
How about the other question? About the Rooks in the photo regarding the ‘counter sunk’ departure from a flat plateau? Are there Jacques Vintage sets having that variation and known to be genuine Vintage pieces or a repro and likely
Other than Jaques.?

When I took that photo it was meant to show a library set was indeed weighted.
and clarification of the set being 100% created by Jaques from what I have been told is likely Zero.
So, a clear photo showing the proper weight for a Jaques set is impossible?
If weighted Jaques sets were available in 1870 then why not have a library set equipped with weights?

It would make too much noise for a library ?

By virtue of being weighted the set would have a greater chance of being never mixed with another (unweighted) piece. Today a nice find. People generally say Jaques Library Sets where NOT weighted. I am curious to learn more when I get a GOOD pic detail to share here.
still ‘waiting’ on anyOne that can give guidance on the Rook shown being Jaques for a 4 in. Vintage set?

ThankYou Frank Camaratta.
Hi James:
That Rook style is typical of all size Jaques’ sets made between approximately 1880 and 1890 or thereabout.

Now that Rooks have been approve , what about the rest of the set & the box ?

On the base of the weight, Jaques weights should have 4 slightly raised bits, which were to allow the weight to be screwed into the piece by a special tool

That's interesting, I didn't think library sets were ever weighted. Are you sure it's not the next size up? Can you let us know the height of the Kings (including the cross) please?

Ok. Forgot to snap a pic of the weight in focus at the social club today. But now am uncertain about the height of a king. Is a 4in set measured to the top of the hat or to the top of the King’s Cross positioned on top of the ‘hat’, crown?

Completely everything to the tip.

The library set is 1 / 16 inch shy of 3 inches including the cross. I looked carefully at the weight of the blk king and see no ‘nubs’. But I rest easy with the set being a matching not mixed set.
