i only have one, that doesnt mean that their is only one in the world. Buy it now only mean that if you want to bypass the bidding process you can take it directly for the amount i am asking for. As for it being manufactured i am sure it is what isnt? i never said it was one of a kind or just popped up into existence and never manufactured. It is what it is...

As one of the more life experienced members of this terrific website if you find this chess set appealing I suggest four things to keep in mind. 1) If it looks to good to be true it probably is. 2) You generally get what you pay for. 3) Caveat emptor. 4) For the price, is it worth a shot? There's only one way to find out.

Nice set, is it all hand carved?

i dont know if it is hand carved, though i seriously doubt it it looks like its a mold of some time that they used to make it.

bet the free shipping doesn't cover Australia...  does it???

What are the dimensions?  King height, square size?  What material are the pieces made of?

I was in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico recently.

I saw many of these chess sets in many sizes.

It is very pretty, especially the board.

Those curious about dimensions and king height etc. will likely find the pieces to be too big for the squares.  The pieces are very tall compared to the squares.

That being said, I do find the set to be very pretty.

If you look at the pictures closely you will see that the pieces are just right. as for the dimensions i am at school preparing for a mid term so i cannot tell you right now. however as for the material i believe (but not certain), that it is some kind of polyresin that they mold into the pieces.
