Yes, good catch:  'Kampf' means 'Struggle' and both Lasker and his close friend Albert Einstein were troubled by Hitler and his evil and pathetically-written book (Mein Kampf);  Einstein's best friend who saved his life; and Lasker's father were both named 'Adolf'.  Kampf, Lasker's book is a philosophy book that uses elementary game theory . . . not very helpful and not apropos for this forum question.  But Lasker's 7 Opening Goals is very good you can find it here in the forums** under my userID:  accomplish them without losing material or time and you're off to a good start;  Best positional books are The Weapons of Chess and Pawn Power in Chess and Point-Count Chess Good luck!
