I recently dove into this opening and plan to study it and add it to my tournament reportoire. Now the question is... which book on the Taimanov Sicilian do you reccomend?

Also, I am a 1836 USCF player if you believe that fact matters.

There's a new one called 'The Taimanov: move by move' by John Emms. It uses a question and answer format. Check out the Everyman site for a sample and description. They also have it as an ebook. I only read a little so far but I've enjoyed all of Emms' books. Other books: Chess Explained: the Taimanov by Rizzitano. The Safest Sicilian by Delchev. And an old but thorough The Taimanov by Burgess. Personally I'd go with Emms.
