Biography and/or Collected games

Greetings everyone, Firstly, I'd better say, I am new to Chess.com and I'm hoping to use the site to help me improve. I am returning to chess after playing a little as a child. My question is in two parts.

I have a collection of books on basic strategy and improvement but I now need a bit of advice from yourselves?

  • I'd like to buy a decent biography, preferably about more than one player, i.e. chess masters from the late 19th or early 20th Century?

  • I'd also like a good collection of some of the greatest games (any period) with lots of helpful annotation and explanation?

I've looked on Amazon but can't quite find what I am looking for. The players who seem to have captured my interest are Capablanca, Tal, Alekhine and of course Fisher.

I hope someone out there can help? Thanks in advance.

I used to have this one on Tal (wish I still had it -- lost it somewhere along the way) --
