Board Match

I just ordered a House of Staunton 4.4" Imperial Collector Set in Boxwood and Blood Rosewood.  I am curious as to which board would go well with the Blood Rosewood pieces.  Does anyone hav eit paired up with a board which uses Ebony for the dark squares?  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi cwceaser,

I am not sure what you preference in board finishes are, but for a glossy board: http://www.braroechess.com/55520bmg.html

and for a matte finish try:

If you have any questions, please let me know.

I have a similar question...got a H of S Classic Series Natural and Ebonized Boxwood set, and considering what kind of board would go well.

I bouncing between wholesalechess's Deluxe Wenge Wood, Deluxe Mahogany or Deluxe Rosewood. Anybody have any advice regarding compatibility and aesthetics please? Thanks.

Basically, it was you like - always remember that.

But, the Wenge Wood coordinates the best - with the Ebonized pieces.

 Just my two cents.

Yes I was leaning a lot towards the wenge wood too...until I thought the dark pieces might get lost in the dark squares, so started thinking about the other more brown shades...thanks for the 2nd opinion!
