Hello,
Thank you. I appreciate it. And, quite, I had thought the same and may just have to buy a spare one, perhaps non-functional for parts, that has the board. Unfortunately I simply have not found a thin enough standalone board that can fit into the Boris box.
Thank you again!
Hello Everyone,
I have known how to play chess for most of my life, and was even a member of my college's chess club, as I enjoy the game but I was never good at seeing several moves ahead thus I did not stick with it. Recently I decided to return for my doctorate and elected to pick chess up again as I want to work on my mental acuity, and have enjoyed the return.
To this end, and as a kid of the 1970s and 1980s, I picked-up a Boris Electronic Chess system yet my unit did not have a board (please see: https://www.computerhistory.org/chess/art-431614f43ad74/). I have tried to locate a chess board that will fit in the unit, but have been unable to do so. I was curious if anyone has a Boris chess board for sale or know either where I might find one or a substitute board that will fit into the box?
Thank you, everyone!
