I'd greatly appreciate it, because you would be helping someone out who wants to study endgame principles and theory, and teach it to many more students of the game.

I read through half of the book, took notes on the endings that I've studied, and I'm making great progress.

It is wrong to steal, strikingtan. I suggest buying the book again. I know it feels terrible to lose something that you paid for. It would also feel terrible to Jesus de la Villa to labor over making a book only to have people take it from him without paying for it. $17 new, 11.45 used, or $7.99 Kindle on amazon.

I have read the thread. There is no reason to steal a book. If you are a teacher, you should buy the book. How your students think if his teacher steal a book to teach them ?

Agreed. At what point do you take responsibility for your actions? You lost the book. Buy it again. $10. End of story. Calling out the author of the book is so weak it makes me wonder if you ever owned it at all...

Many teachers do that. You're just helping a friend out here.
